The short version: Macromin does not collect data from Paper Note. Notes and app preferences are stored on your device using Apple's local storage technologies.
Overview
Paper Note is provided by Macromin Solutions Private Limited, Hyderabad, Telangana, India (“Macromin,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). This policy applies to the Paper Note iOS and iPadOS app and these Paper Note privacy and support pages.
Paper Note is designed to work without an account or network service. Macromin cannot view, recover, synchronize, or remotely delete the notes stored in the app.
Information in the app
- Notes and completion state
- Text you enter, the date of each page, note order, and completion state are stored locally on your device.
- Page timestamps
- When applicable, Paper Note stores the local time of the first real edit made to a day's page.
- App preferences
- Apple UserDefaults stores small device-only preferences such as whether the introduction or helpful tips were shown or dismissed.
Data collection and tracking
Paper Note does not send app data to Macromin. It contains no advertising SDK, analytics SDK, account system, cloud service, or third-party tracking technology. Macromin does not sell or share Paper Note data because Macromin does not receive it.
The app does not request access to contacts, location, camera, photos, microphone, health information, or notifications.
Storage, backups, and deletion
Paper Note uses Apple SwiftData to store notes inside the app's sandbox on your device. The app does not use iCloud or Macromin cloud synchronization.
You can delete individual notes in the app. Deleting the app removes its local app container from the device. Copies may remain in device backups controlled by you or Apple until those backups are replaced or deleted under the relevant backup settings.
Because Macromin does not receive the app's local data, we cannot restore notes after deletion, device loss, or reinstallation.
This website and support messages
These pages do not use advertising or analytics cookies. The hosting provider may process ordinary request information such as IP address, browser or device details, timestamps, and security logs to deliver and protect the site.
If you email support, Macromin receives the email address, message, and attachments you choose to send. We use that information only to respond, troubleshoot, handle a privacy request, protect the service, and meet legal obligations. Do not include private note content unless it is necessary for your request.
Security
Paper Note relies on Apple's app sandbox and device security controls. Protect your device with a passcode and keep iOS or iPadOS updated. No storage method can guarantee absolute security, especially on a compromised or shared device.
Your choices and privacy rights
You control the notes stored in the app and can edit or delete them at any time. Privacy laws may also give you rights over information in a support message, such as access, correction, or deletion. Email contact@macromin.in to make a request.
Children
Paper Note is a general-purpose planner and is not directed to children. The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children or any other user.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy if Paper Note, its storage model, or legal requirements change. The effective date above will be updated when material changes are published.
